The Lancastrian Brigade Band and Drums are a Volunteer Military
Band and Corps of Drums, based
in
The King's Own Royal Regiment (Lancaster)
The King's Regiment (Liverpool) The Lancashire Fusiliers
The East Lancashire Regiment The Border Regiment
The South Lancashire Regiment (Prince of Wales's Volunteers) The Loyal Regiment (North Lancashire)
The musicians and drummers are
all amateur players with a shared interest in military music. They are not
formally attached to the army, but over the years the band and drums have forged
strong links with the army at a local barracks, the
The band and drums perform music and drumming displays at concerts and other charity events. They also provide a marching band for military parades and regimental associations and they also give displays of precision marching and playing. The Band has engagements throughout the UK, these are fully funded except for personal expenditure.
